Prepare your team for a confident and successful transition to SQF Edition 10 with this interactive, 4-hour instructor-led workshop.
Designed specifically for SQF Practitioners, quality assurance professionals, and certified site teams, this course goes beyond high-level updates to actively build your ability to interpret the revised Code and apply it to your system. Participants will walk through Edition 10 structural changes, learn where and how new requirements are located in the digitised Code, and gain hands-on experience evaluating their own programs. Guided activities help you identify gaps, prioritise changes, and develop a realistic transition plan tailored to your site
Using the official SQFI training materials, we will go through each of the updated or new SQF Edition 10 requirements in a detailed and concise manner. We will give you lots of examples of how to conform to the SQF Edition 10 requirements while keeping your quality management system simple and straight forward.
As we work through the new SQF Edition 10 requirements, we will outline a rough ‘To-Do’ List on what needs to be done to achieve high SQF scores.

We will provide a concise but detailed explanation of each of the new SQF Edition 10 – Food Manufacturing requirements. As a class, we will discuss how to cover off these requirements in a simple but effective way, which provides value to your food business.
We will give lots of examples of how to conform with the SQF Edition 10 requirements.
SQF is a Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standard. It is also a HACCP based standard, which means you need to have a HACCP plan documented and implemented in the food business before undergoing an SQF audit.
There are a series of SQF standards including SQF Food Manufacturing, SQF Storage and Distribution and SQF Packaging. For more information about SQF, please visit our SQF page.
The date audits are to start with the Edition 10 SQF Food Safety and Quality Codes is expected to be January 2 2027. Audits scheduled on or after this date will be to Edition 10.
This date is contingent upon the GFSI benchmarking application process. Any changes will be communicated by SQF.
A Certificate of Attendance will be supplied for SQF Edition 10 Conversion Course.
Attendees are required to have a strong working knowledge of HACCP and SQF. It is expected attendees will have already participated in previous SQF audits and have an SQF program in place.
For new SQF practitioners, it is recommended students attend our 2 day Implementing SQF Systems – Edition 10 training workshop. This course also includes all of the SQF Edition 10 requirements.
This is an ideal way for existing SQF Practitioners to get a detailed understanding of the new requirements in a quick and easy snapshot, while learning about how to fulfil the requirements.
